Animated operas

Three different operas, three different animations.

Ahead of the premieres of their operas, the Gran Teatre del Liceu always promotes them with animations inspired by their plots. I have had the opportunity to animate three of them in the past half year: Tristan Und Isolde, La Gioconda, and Falstaff.

The three animations, one more in a collage style and the other two in a pictorial style, have been created by combining archival material, classical paintings, artificial intelligence and traditional animation techniques.
